Here’s to 2017!!!

I am looking over 2016 and the good things that happened and also continually trying to reach new heights physically and mentally.

Last years reflections:
Thinking positively will attract positive things in life.
You can only change things that you can control and your reactions can have a huge impact on your life.
When you believe you can’t do something, you won’t. If you believe you can, you will.
Spending time with family and friends is irreplaceable.
Not everything will turn out as planned all of the time but there is something to be learned from every situation.

As we begin 2017:
Have high expectations for myself and achieve my goals.
Stay upbeat and positive knowing that life could always be worse.
Wake up everyday and realize just how good life is.
Smile more. Laugh more.
Continue working on combatting mental fatigue with new brain games and reading whenever I can.
Set new physical health goals and stick to them.
Work toward a new level of strength and endurance while continually raising my own standards.
Do more than 1/2 of a pull up (ha!)

I wish you and your family a healthy and happy holiday season. I hope you will also consider some reflection and goal setting! We can only move forward from here.
