There are so many HUGE and unsettling moments in the world right now. A time to truly reflect on personal choices and also a time to think about the often funny, (although unintentionally I realize) and downright silly comments that people living with MS will hear at some time in their own journey. These can be comments made by friends, co-workers or even complete strangers. I share this article not as a negative “see how insensitive people can be” but instead as an opportunity to open the eyes of people who say these types of things from a completely innocent place. I truly hope 2021 is off to a great start for everyone and that health and more importantly, happiness has found you.

Amazing what power our words have. It’s a great reminder to be thoughtful, put ourselves in others’ shoes, and choose our words kindly. Love you, friend!

Always – and also teaching our children the importance of choosing to use this power cautiously and with kindness is definitely a challenge but a worthwhile one for sure. Lovin’ you 💜
